Sweet, lemony, and tart!
Those words describe the flavors in this Lemon Meringue Pie. I made this pie using a basic Buttery Crust recipe and, once baked, filled it with a sweet and tangy Lemon Curd. After chilling for a bit, the pie was then topped with a sweet Swiss Meringue, which is a bit sweeter than your standard meringue.
For a final touch I broiled the meringue for a bit in the oven. Nice and toasty brown. All in all I would have to say that I am a fan!
