Pirate Party Goodies

Ahoy Maties! Here is a bunch of Pirate Themed goodies that I made for a young man’s Birthday!

First up is the cake. It was a Marble Cake with Vanilla Buttercream. Can you guess what the cake was decorated as? A treasure map where “X” marks the spot.

The candles were provided by the client and she wanted them incorporated into to cake. The skull was on the party decorations and was incorporated as well.

Next up are cupcakes. They are Vanilla Cupcakes with Vanilla Buttercream. The cupcakes were dyed green to match the colors of the party.

Arn’t the cupcake liners and toppers cute? Parrots, ships, skulls, and hats oh my! They were provided by the client as well.

Now onto the the cookies. Vanilla Sugar Cookies with Vanilla Royal Icing were decorated as a pirate ship, treasure chest, skull and cross bones, and a pirate hat. I had a lot of fun doing these and they are my favorite element of this order.

PirateCookie2I like the addition of the sprinkles on the treasure to make it stand out.

Lastly are cannon ball cake pops. Chocolate Cake and Chocolate Buttercream went into these cake pops. They were then dipped in Dark Chocolate and then covered in crushed cookies to mimic canon balls. Again, these were a lot of fun to make and they turned out really nice.

All in all I really liked how this entire order came together. This is the first time I have done 4 different elements in one order for one client. It was a lot of fun for me and I am sure it was great for the birthday boy as well.
