4th of July Rose Cake

Did you know that the Rose is the National Flower of the United States? How cool!

So it is fitting that I used the rose piping technique to make this Red, White & Blue Rose Cake. The cake is a triple layer Vanilla Funfetti w/ red and blue sprinkles. I then frosted it with Cream Cheese Frosting that was colored red, white, and blue.

Each layer got a crumb coat of the corispoding color and then I piped the roses on the outside. I used a tutorial from I Am Baker, who is a great lady and baker. It was easy to learn how and very easy to do. It turned out wonderful and very festive!

Happy 4th of July!!
