Halloween Sugar Cookies

That time is approaching! It’s almost Halloween! Do you have your candy all ready to hand out to those trick-or-treaters?

Here is a little special treat I made at the beginning of the month as a little “teaser” of sorts. Halloween Sugar Cookies! They were from a set of “Stackable” cutters that I recieved as a gift a while back and decided to use them now!

I made a basic Sugar Cookie and spiced it up by adding a bit of Cinnamon to make it more seasonal. I decorated the cookies with Royal Icing and sprinkles. To hold the various layers together I used more royal icing because once it dries, it gets really hard.

There were 3 different types of cookies: First was a Bat and Moon, then a Pumpkin, and last was a Spider and Web. I really liked the spider and the bat! But they were all very cute.

To supplement the stacked cookies, I also made some individual Skull and Tombstone cookies. They turned out very “spooky” as well!
