Pretty in Pink Skull Cake

PinkSkull2Another birthday, another cake! This time it was a Pretty in Pink Skull Cake. A female skull and cross bones with a bandana and heart eyes. Pirate themed yet feminine. The color scheme was Pink, Black, & White.

PinkSkull3The cake on the inside was basic White Cake dyed pink. It was frosted with Vanilla Buttercream. The decorations were piped on the top, and a “Happy Birthday” message was written on the side. Simple and cute!

PinkSkull1The cake sure was a hit at the party. The kids reacted to the dyed interior of the cake too. I think dying the inside is a nice touch. Makes cutting into it so much more fun and it’s unexpected!

Hello! It was not a template! I drew it on parchment paper, cut that out, then traced it onto the cake and then piped over the lines! 🙂
