I had the pleasure of making some cupcakes for a little boy’s 2nd birthday this past weekend. His mother also requested a small cake for him to demolish! The inside of the cake was a white cake base that was died Red & Yellow to go along with the color scheme. It also looks awesome when cut into and you find out its colored as well!
I used a homemade white cupcake base and added in some colored sprinkles to make them into Homemade Funfetti! They turned out moist and flavorful, and colorful to boot! To decorate the cupcakes I piped on frosting in red and yellow, then decided to try my hand at some Tri-Coloring frosting with the addition of white. It was hard to get all the colors in the bag, but once that was all squared away, it was fun to see the different variations! They looked pretty cool as well!
